Corona's MarketMaker display shows you the "market behind the market". Dealers jockey for position to fill orders on the Nasdaq system. Corona updates the display quote-by-quote and ranks makers according to price in the makerlist. We color code each price to make it easier to see what direction the makers are moving in. In the Maker Price Tiers the number of makers as well as the aggregate size of their position is ranked by price from best to worst. The right-hand margin of each row is color coded and matched to the lower makerlist for reference. Clicking on a price tier will move the makerlist cursor to the first qualifying dealer at that price.

The center panel displays a vertical bar chart showing either the depth or aggregate size at each price. In this screenshot we're showing the chart in 'brief' mode, limiting the number of tiers displayed to six.

This inset area is displayed alternately with two other ways of tracking maketmaker activity: the Maker Quote Tape and the Waterfall.

The Maker Quote Tape tracks all maker activity. Time, Maker, Bid and Offer, and sizes.

If you need additional detail, watch the play-by-play on the waterfall inset. Here Corona shows you the impact of significant maker moves. Increases in price are shown in green, and decreases are shown in red. If the Maker move affects the inside market, it'll be shown in boldface.

All the while you're watching the makers shake out, you're also able to keep track of basic stock info such as Last, Change, Bid, Ask, and the Daily Stats, and the TimeSales window tracks trades and inside market moves tick-by-tick, highlighting new insides, boldfacing trades exceeding 5000 shares, and flagging trades that take place off the current inside market.

As with other Corona screens, the font, the background color, the page size and position can be modified by you, and your changes will be remembered during your next session.
